Fall Fly Takes On New Twist, 9-17-07

At 10:38 AM today Jenni gave birth to our new daughter, Grace Jordan. Jenni and Gracie are both doing great, recovering from the ordeal, and preparing to come home and start our new life together.
Besides being beautiful and, as my Mom would say, “perfect in every way”, she ended up being a “weight” at 8 lbs, 2 ounces. Had it been a bonefish tournament, she definately would have made the ride in the Mirage livewell to the Lorelei for weigh in.
The Fall Fly starts this Wednesday and concludes on Friday. Rick Orcutt will be subbing for me with Capt Duane Baker. I had the opportunity to fish with Rick & Duane last week. Rick’s been fly fishing for only 7 years, the last 4 very passionately. He casts like someone who has done it all of his life – very impressive. I believe this team will be very competitive.
I’ll report on the tournament as the results come in.
